We are of course keeping our high standard of performers and production. In fact – now we have the additional thrill of including trapeze and aerial performances in our  three upcoming shows :

Jubilee Weekend SATURDAY JUNE 2ND

FRIDAY NIGHT SEPTEMBER  7TH AND 21ST.

The Spiegel Tent will hold almost 500 people, we will perform in the round (meaning EVERYONE will see us up close and personal!!!)

We have struggled finding venues that have vintage charm AND the ability to accommodate our show – so we are delighted to be part of Southbanks festival this year – in our new home – The Spiegel Tent, as part of Priceless London Wonderground.

When you buy tickets to our show, you gain entrance to a village – with our glorious mirrored Spiegel Tent in the heart of it all.

We are so grateful to Vivien of Holloway who are supporting this series of shows and we will have give aways for our lovely audiences each night not just from Vivien of Holloway but also Burlesquebaby.com and Beyond Retro along with a few extra surprises!

The exhibition, A Brush with Burlesque, will show from Thursday 3^rd May – Sunday 13^th May 2012 – 1.00pm – 7.00pm at East Gallery, 214, Brick Lane, London E1 6SA. The gallery will be run by artist, Mark Bell and his wife Sarah, who also runs ‘Kinky & Quirky’, one of the UK’s well respected burlesque nights and their own studio/gallery ‘A Kick Up The Arts’ in Devon, so visitors can expect lots of background stories and history about the performers portrayed offering them a further sense of involvement in the exhibition.

When the exhibition finishes the website will remain on line as a directory of burlesque artists that will hopefully be added to and evolve to become an up-to-date resource.

Congratulations to all our raffle winners -  Best dressed Isha, Best dressed boy was Davd. We gave away tickets to Round House, two tickets to our new June 2nd show (Debbie Hamilton won those!)

We hope that all the competition winners from Judy’s Affordable Vintage fair, Swing Patrol and Velda Lauder all had a fun night.
